mission
Rocky Mountain Traditional Research Institute's (RMTRI) mission is to have traditional knowledge recognized as an equal and valid source of information and research, to compliment scientific study.
RMTRI's objectives
• To gather, collect, and digitize the unique traditional knowledge of the Rockies and Eastern Slopes, including the wildlife, flora, fauna, water, geology and history of the Rocky Mountain region.
• To create a resource center and databases of traditional knowledge of the Rocky Mountain region.
• To create multimedia in multiple formats to share traditional knowledge of the Rocky Mountain region for education.
