RMTRI studies the impact of government policy on the welfare of individuals, wildlfife and biodiversity of the eastern slopes and Rocky Mountain region. In our research, we bring together hunters, guides, outfitters, trappers, mountain men and aborignal people to discuss issues of this region.

We are involved in research on a wide range of topics that effect the biodiversity of the region. These topics include doing surveys on the game populations, the need for controlled burns, and the need for trail maintenance. RMTRI will provide information on the historical patterns of game and the changing landscape.
